Groupthink is insidious. Blind loyalty, blind obedience, blind conformity - these are the stepping stones to fascism, and they're far more prevalent than any of us want to believe. Even though the Foley scandal is beginning to disintegrate the Republican Congressional leadership, we progressives still need to be on the alert. Tonight, North Korea exploded a nuclear bomb in an underground testing site, and that could have a serious and adverse effect on the volatile political situation here in America.
