I still listen -- there must be some underlying masochisim involved.
In the 4PM news break a reporter talked about the uproar in Britain over Blair's interview in which he said something about praying and God judging his decision on Iraq. The reporter summarized by saying, Blair's statement has been "incorrectly interpreted" as saying Blair believes God directed him to approve the invasion.
Now, perhaps that is an incorrect interpretation of his entire statement and tone. But the reporter did not provide any support for his assertion. The attitude is: the natives are getting restless -- accept NPR's word that they are irrational.
That was an isolated incident for almost an hour.
